My first encounter with the steampunk culture, which was very interesting. The group of role players, dressed in Victorian-era clothing with science fiction elements, came from around Gainesville and some from Green Cove Springs to eat and drink, and play croquet together. I seriously felt like I was walking on to a movie set when I got here, like I was somehow transported back in time, which was a very cool feeling. :) Here are some photos from their picnic at Kanapaha Park:
